Recently Bioware has announced a new pack of DLC for Mass Effect 3, apparently the final in the series
The DLC named ‘Citadel’ will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March the 5th and will feature two sections, one for Singleplayer and the other, named ‘Reckoning’, for Multiplayer.
Recently shared on Biowares forums was the following about Citadel:
“When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.
When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.”
The price is set at a mere 15$ (R140) for the two part DLC, both downloads will have to be made to play either, so if you download DLC#2, it will require you to download the first to actually use it.
Edit: According to Bioware, this only affects Xbox users, PS3 and PC users will only be required to download one package.
Reckoning is the multiplayer part of the DLC, arriving on the 26th of February for Xbox 360 and PS3 and the 27th of February for the PC and boasts a new collection of characters and weapons, as well as new weapon mods from the singleplayer campaign.
Neither DLC will be available on WiiU, Bioware has yet to comment.
